 G.I.S. Mapping of the Watershed

Crystal Shaw has developed a geographic information systems G.I.S. map of the watershed.  This computerized map allows the group to extract information such as the total area of watersheds, areas of wetlands, and proximity of wetlands to the creeks.  It will be expanded to include land use and potential sources of turbidity, such as pastures and road crossings.
The information in the G.I.S. will be very important in Crystal's project of developing a water budget and a model for groundwater flow in the basin.
