The English department at Albion College prides itself on excellent teaching. We value small class sizes and personal contact between students and professors. The Department has faculty members with research specializations and expertise in most areas of English, American, and world literatures written in English, as well as in the history of the English language and creative writing. Two faculty members have been honored by endowed chairs and six have received college-wide recognition in the form of Distinguished Teaching awards.

The Albion Review - The national undergraduate literary journal publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual art of undergraduates from across the country. It is produced and edited entirely by students, and is distributed beyond the campus. Recent issues have included interviews with professional writers and artists.  Click here for subscriptions, guidelines, reading samples and other information.

Want to know how some former and current English majors and minors use their experience in a variety of pursuits and professions beyond the Albion campus?  Let us introduce you to...
