We had another successful trip to Chicago in November 2005. We met with Bill Hart of Hartline Investment Company and visited the CBOT, CBOE (where we were able to visit the trading floor...see the pics on the main page), and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. And of course we found time for lunch at the Billy Goat, and dinner at Dicks Last Resort. During the spring 2006 semester we will reviewed our club portfolio holdings. Our Hartline portfolio had a solid year (March 05-March 06) and we received a generous scholarship donation from Bill Hart based on those earnings. Fall 2006 the club members are busy reviewing the Hartline Portfolio stocks in preparation for our November 2006 Chicago trip. Between the Hartline Portfolio and our Club Portfolio, the Investment Club is managing nearly $25,000.
