Married to Audrey Newell, a child psychiatrist who teaches family practice residents, pediatrics residents, and OB-GYN residents at the Oakwood Healthcare System. She is also a clinical instructor in the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry.
Three
children: Daniel (born 1989), David (born 1990), and Jonathan (born 1995).
