Likely Makeup of Exam
The exam will have 20-30 multiple choice and 3-5 essay/problems.

For the financial institutions part of the exam we will follow the text closely. Read each chapter. We spent more time on bank management than other chapters. Be able to analyze capital and liquidity management using t-accounts.
For the other institutions (e.g., mutual funds, pensions,...) we were less detailed. Focus on definitions of their mission, products, regulation, etc..
