Marketing and Sales
Marketing is the process of
satisfying human needs. The Economics
and Management major provides the business background to do that. Proficiency in politics, history, and
sociology and psychology are important for an understanding of human
needs. The sequence of courses presented
below is suggested for a student who is interested in pursuing a career in
marketing, sales, and retailing.
Microcomputer expertise in
word processing, spreadsheets and databases is very important. Students are strongly encouraged to get that
experience through either classroom, personal or job experience.
