The Economics and Management Department is strongly committed to the liberal arts tradition. Thus, a typical student majoring in economics and management will take about two-thirds of his or her courses outside the department. Furthermore, even though we are a department devoted to the study of economics and business, we are not interested in merely providing you with a narrow set of business skills.
