Memberships

General

This membership is for the 2006/07 indoor season. Only members, or member’s guests, are entitled to the use of the facility. Per our new membership policies, all members will be required to present your current membership card as you enter the facility. Privileges

This membership entitles the player to all privileges inherent with the “tennis only” membership category, which include:

·         Permanent court time options. Reserve a court at the same time and same day throughout the indoor season. Rates are $16/hour over the course of the Albion College academic calendar.

·         Tennis court reservations up to 7 days in advance. Courts may be reserved for up to 2 hours by calling 517.629.0739.

·         Special event reservations. Reserve the entire facility for social tennis parties. Fees commensurate with current court rates.

·         Locker room utilization is provided for daily use. Members must remove locks before leaving the facility.

·         Hosting guests at the Ungrodt Tennis Center. Members are allotted 5 guest passes, or (5) one day membership passes, that can be utilized at any time. There is a $10 dollar utilization fee for each guest visit and is in addition to any court fees.

·         Lesson discounts on selected programs. See Scott for details.

Services

·            Ball machine rental is available for $10/hour.

·            Ball carts available free of charge to all members.

·            Racquet repair service is available. Most repairs are guaranteed to be completed within 24 hours.

Membership Categories

·            “Fall” membership (September 5^th through December 7^th, 2006)

·            “Spring” membership (January 22^nd through May 7^th, 2007)

·            “Full” indoor season membership (September 5^th, 2006 through May 7^th, 2007)

·            Fall session membership

Ø        $150 per adult

Ø        $100 per junior (18 & under)

·            Spring session membership

Ø        $150 per adult

Ø        $100 per junior (18 & under)

·            Full 2006/07 season membership

Ø        $275 per adult

Ø        $150 per junior (18 & under)

·            Court time

Ø        All court time is $16.00/hour

Tennis Court Etiquette

·            Players need to enter and exit courts in a timely manner in order to facilitate other member’s play.

·            Profanity, racquet throwing, hitting the curtains or nets, is not permitted.

·            All players must wear shirts at all times.

 Cancellations and No-Shows

·            By giving 24-hour advanced notice, members may cancel a court reservation. With less than 24-hour notification, members will be charged if all the courts were reserved and our staff was unable to resell the court.

Calendar

·            The Ungrodt Tennis Center (UTC) operates as the indoor tennis facility for Albion College students, faculty, staff, and members. Accordingly, the UTC hours of operation are consistent with the 2006-07 Albion College academic calendar.

·            Please note the following dates which in turn will be reflected at the UTC.

·            Monday – Thursday           6:30am – 11pm

·            Saturday                            12pm – 6pm
