Senior Year Portfolio

During your senior year your portfolio is primarily for an off campus audience. Content is based one who is viewing your portfolio. Since you will most likely not be present when someone views your portfolio, you want to be sure your information flows and is easily found and understood. While you want to make a visual impact, you want to be sure that impact is a positive one.

Home or Index - Modify your introduction and welcome if needed.
Academic - Expand on what you have done and what you plan to do with your course work. You may want to expand on your course or project highlight and what your major is and how you came to that decision. Add a philosophy or mission statement. Highlight involvement in Academic Institutes. Offer samples of your academic work. Highlight involvement in an Off-Campus Program or internship if you participated in one.
Personal - After looking at all of the out of class experiences you have had, highlight the ones that have had the greatest impact on you. You may want to expand on your highlight of an interesting experience and how an out of class experience has helped you with your academic or professional development. Develop a philosophy or mission statement.
Professional - After looking at all of your professional skills and traits, highlight a few that are especially important to your chosen profession. Expand on your reflections regarding your major and the skill/trait of which you are especially proud. Include a philosophy or mission statement and your resume. Highlight involvement in an Off-Campus Program or internship if you participated in one. Reflect on what you are planning for your next step, whether that means graduate school, a job, volunteer work, etc.
