Please note that 123 labs will begin on January 23rd! 

Lab manuals will be distributed in lab during the first week.  Please remember to bring your own safety goggles and lab notebook!

 

Policies

It is Chemistry Department policy that you must pass both the laboratory and the non-laboratory (combined lecture and final exam) portions of the course in order to pass Chemistry 123.

Individual instructors may have homework and/or quizzes that affect the course grade.

Missed quizzes or exams will not be made up and will be included as 0 in the student's grade unless the student has made prior arrangements with the instructor or can obtain a valid excuse from the Office of the Dean of Students. 

Absences required by extracurricular activities and coursework will be excused–it is the student’s responsibility to make up all missed work and to give advance notice of such planned absences to the instructor.
