| From July 1, 2008:

When not doing research in Faculty
chemistry labs, students use the facilities as a quiet spot to study
and work on research proposals.

From January 28, 2008:

Albion College
students Corrine Weddell and Sara Cholyway check out a sample of
Beethoven's hair. As part of the Beethoven Festival at Albion
College in November, 2007, the Chemistry Department hosted a seminar
by William Walsh. Dr. Walsh found high concentrations of lead
which may have lead to Beethoven's death in 1827. |
| From December 1, 2007:

Students at
Albion College present the results of their research at national
meetings. Pictured above is Shauna Paradine (right, '08)
talking about her research to an interested chemist at the National
Meeting of the American Chemical Society in San Fransisco in 2007. |

The chemistry
curriculum at Albion College includes lab courses where you
receive hands on experience with chemical transformations and
interpretation of data. Shown above, Reid Smith (right, '09)
