Spectroscopy
Fall 2008
Spectroscopy is a 0.5-unit course emphasizing relationship between
experimental spectroscopic data and the internal structures of atoms and
molecules. The general principles
and theories of light absorption and emission at the molecular level, including
application of symmetry and group theory, are examined in detail.
Chemistry 340 (Physical Chemistry) is a prerequisite for this course.
