Albion College's Methodist Roots

Albion College maintains a vital connection with the United Methodist Church, its founding denomination. Some of the ongoing connections with the Office of the Chaplain include:

• Regular collaboration with Albion First United Methodist Church in Wesley Fellowship, worship and service opportunities.
• Active member of the Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministries, in both the West Michigan and Detroit Conferences.
• Active presence at both Michigan area annual conferences.
• Student leaders attend regional, national, and international UMC conferences.
• Partnership with others in the Methodist family, including African Methodist Episcopal, A.M.E. Zion, Korean, Wesleyan, Free Methodist, Nazarene, and Pentecostal traditions.
