Albion College and the
Division of Student Affairs are excited for the 2008-2009
academic year to commence. We look forward to the return of our upperclass
students. In addition, please join me in welcoming the class of 2012!
The Student Affairs Division welcomes new Residential Life staff members
including Michael Wadsworth as the Director for Residential Life.
Mr. Wadsworth comes to us from West Virginia Wesleyan College where he
served as the Director of Housing and Residence Life and Chief Judicial
Officer. He received his Masters Degree in Higher Education and College
Student Personnel from Kent State University.
Joining him is Christina Kersjes as the new Residence Director for
Wesley Hall. She received her Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan
University and is working on her Masters of Science degree from Eastern
Michigan. She previously served as the Assistant Coordinator for Apartment
Living at Kansas State University.
Kylee Vanek is the new Residence Director for Whitehouse and Seaton
Halls. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration
from Central Michigan University. Ms. Vanek spent last year as a Michigan
Campus Compact Volunteer Coordinator at Northwood University.
April Yost joined the Residential Life office in the spring of 2008
as the Dean Hall Residence Director/CPO Project Coordinator. She assumed
the duties of Residence Hall Director for Mitchell Towers beginning in July
of 2008. Ms. Yost is a May, 2007 graduate of Albion College with a
Bachelors of Arts degree.
Sara
Pump has been promoted to the Associate Director for Residential Life.
Beginning in 2004, Ms. Pump served at Albion as a Residence Hall Director
and as the Assistant Director for Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.
In addition, Ben Robinson accepted the Residential Life Office
Housing Coordinator/Office Manager position. He started his employment at
Albion dispatching part-time in Campus Safety in spring 2007.
Mary Jones
has been appointed as the Director for Career Development. She received her
Doctor of Philosophy degree from Capella University in Minneapolis,
Minnesota and Masters of Arts in Education from Columbia University in New
York. Dr. Jones spent last year advising for the Study Abroad and Exchange
Student Programs at the University of Michigan.
Jenny
Greyerbiehl
is the new Assistant Director for Greek Life and Student Organizations.
She comes to us from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where she
received her Masters of Arts, College Student Affairs Administration. She
served as a Graduate Assistant with the Office of Student Affairs, Board of
Regents, and the University System of Georgia in Atlanta, Georgia.
