Once you have reserved space and
posted the event on the Albion College Events Calendar, you may
utilize the Campus Programs and Organizations (CPO) web based announcement
program called Albion Today for advertising purposes. Each day,
announcements/messages about campus happenings are sent via e-mail
to students, faculty and staff.
You may submit messages up until 8:00
AM the day the message is supposed to be sent. For those who plan
in advance, you may submit an announcement at any time for future
dates.
Keep in mind that messages are only
sent once a day (Monday – Friday) and will arrive in recipients’
mailboxes by 11:00 AM. Albion Today is not sent on weekends. Also
note that three different versions of Albion Today exist, one for
faculty, one for staff, and one for students. Senders of messages
identify which audiences receive the messages.
CPO reviews messages for
appropriateness. However, CPO does not review messages for proper
dates, accurate times, or correct spelling. It is the
responsibility of the sender to check these items before
