First-Year Parking
First-Year
students must submit a petition to the Department of Campus Safety to
request a parking space on campus. The petition form is available on the
SOAR website, and may be completed either electronically (preferred), or by
printing out and mailing a completed form to Campus Safety The petition can
be accessed at the
SOAR Web site.
First-Year parking petitions were due by June
30, 2008, but Campus Safety
will review forms submitted after that date. Questions may be directed to

Temporary Guest Parking
All
vehicles parked in campus lots must be registered with Campus Safety.
Temporary permits are issued to guests for limited periods of time. These
permits may be obtained at the Campus Safety office 24 hours a day. Each
student is allowed ten (10) days of temporary parking per semester at no
charge. Students will be billed for all parking fines incurred by their
guests.
Ticketing/Towing
Vehicles
found parked in violation of College parking regulations are subject to
being ticketed. Vehicles that are found parked
in a reserved space, handicapped space, or fire lane may be towed without
previous warning at the owner's expense. Unregistered vehicles receiving
more than two (2) tickets may be towed from campus at the expense of the
vehicle owner. Students may appeal parking tickets by completing a ticket
appeals form at the Campus Safety office within fourteen (14) days of
issuance.
The City of Albion does not allow parking on city
streets between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. All cars on the street during this
time are subject to ticketing from the Albion Department of Public Safety.
