Arrival on Campus

New Students Registered for SOAR 5

President Randall talking with a family in the Cafeteria during SOARFirst-year and transfer students registered for SOAR 5 will arrive on campus Thursday, August 21, 2008. Please begin the day by picking up your SOAR materials between 8:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. at the Kellogg Center. You may then proceed to your assigned residence hall to check in and obtain keys for your residence hall room. Parking for First-Year students for unloading purposes will be available behind Wesley Hall (enter at the Bidwell Street parking lot) or adjacent Seaton Hall lots. Transfer students also have parking options available near their assigned living units.

Keep in mind this is move-in day for SOAR 5 participants. Please bring all of your personal items that you will need for the school year as you will be moving into your assigned room for the fall semester. The first SOAR program begins promptly at 9:30 a.m., so please allow ample time to arrive and unpack your car. While this time frame will most likely not allow you to unpack everything in your room, additional time is built into the weekend schedule for students to settle and personalize their rooms. All SOAR 5 students are required to stay for First-Year Information programs that run beginning Friday afternoon through Sunday (August 22-24).
