Preparations are underway for the fall semester in the Center for International Education (CIE).  Please plan to visit our new offices located in the 306 suite of Vulgamore Hall.  The CIE oversees Albion's Off-Campus Programs, which are offered both internationally and at various sites in the U.S., and provides international student services.  Important dates for the fall semester include:

New International Student Orientation

Student orientation for new international students begins Tuesday, August 18 and runs through Friday August 21. 

Off-Campus Programs Fair

If you are thinking about studying off-campus, don't miss the annual Off-Campus Programs Fair, set for Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM in Upper Baldwin. Representatives from many of our 100-plus Albion-approved programs will be there to talk with you about study, research and internship opportunities.  You will also have the chance to talk with other Albion students who have completed off-campus programs.  Please check with the CIE about eligibility requirements for specific programs.  The general Albion requirements are:

• * Junior or senior standing
• * 2.7 cumulative GPA
• * Good social standing
• * Successful completion of the Writing Competence Examination
• * Demonstrated maturity commensurate with the demands of the program

Off-Campus Application Deadline for Spring Semester

The deadline for off-campus programs applications is Monday, September 14, 2009, unless the program has an earlier deadline. Please visit the CIE to check your particular program.
