The Campus Programs and Organizations Office at Albion College works with students, student organizations, faculty, staff, and community members to provide a wide array of co-curricular activities and opportunities for the campus community. Commonly referred to as CPO, the office supports programmatic efforts in the areas of Student Organizations, Programs & Events, Greek Life and Late Night & Kellogg Center Programming. CPO proudly oversees a special monetary grant program entitled Liberal Arts at Play (LAAP) to aid students and student organizations in providing unique and innovative programs for student audiences. Campus Programs and Organizations also coordinates the Student Orientation, Advising and Registration Program (SOAR) for new incoming students. The Staff from Campus Programs and Organizations Office and the Kellogg Center work cooperatively to provide environments for entertainment programs, gatherings, meetings, and other special events. The Kellogg Center bustles with activity throughout the day and into the evening hours. The Kellogg Center not only provides space for various functions it also helps event organizers by providing modern audio-visual and other technical support. Together, Campus Programs and Organizations along with the Kellogg Center provides the campus community with a College Events Calendar. The events calendar is a good source for finding out information regarding upcoming programs on campus. In addition, CPO manages Albion Today, and electronic bulletin board reminder of upcoming events through the campus E-mail system.
