The Naked Final Examination Excerpt:
2006 Commencement Four-hundred and ten Albion College seniors became full-fledged alumni this weekend as they participated in the College's 171st commencement exercises. Commencement--traditionally staged on the Quadrangle--was held in the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Recreation and Wellness Center due to cold temperatures and rain.
"Even in the midst of this cold and dreary day, the sun shines brightly on our Albion College and may it continue to shine brightly on the lives of these graduates," Mitchell said in greeting the hundreds who were watching both in the Dow Center and online. The full text of Mitchell's greeting can be found here.
Joe H. Stroud Visiting Scholar Rev. Dr. William A. Ritter, ’62, an author, Albion College trustee, and pastor emeritus at First United Methodist Church in Birmingham, was the first Joe H. Stroud Visiting Scholar for the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Public Policy and Service. His February 15 talk kicked off a series of three public lectures during the spring 2006 semester, when he is serving also as the 2006 Executive-in-Residence for the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management.
