Albion Director of Media Relations Morris Arvoy and Pleiad reporter Danni Wysocki visited with Albion's 2008 commencement speaker Lloyd Carr in his office at the University of Michigan sports complex two weeks ago. The former coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team, Carr talked about education, philanthropy, and Albion people he has known through the years.

On Friday, April 18, 2008, Albion College celebrated a historic moment when it inaugurated Donna M. Randall as its 15th president. She is the first woman president in the College’s 172-year history. The evening installation ceremony in Goodrich Chapel was followed by an all-campus dessert buffet and dance in the Science Complex Atrium.

Albion College Men's Basketball vs. Calvin

D.J. Mocini receives an inbound pass from Dean Raven, dribbles about 30 feet and knocks down a 3-point goal over a pair of defenders to lift Albion College to a 56-55 victory over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Calvin College inside Kresge gymnasium.
