Puerto Rico Trip
2007 Blog Albion students enrolled in the First Year Experience Seminar "Puerto Rico: Boricua to Colonial West Side Story...and Jennifer Lopez" will be traveling to Puerto Rico to examine firsthand the issues raised by the course. The group will spend time in metropolitan San Juan as well as traveling to the southern city of Ponce, the radio telescope in Arecibo, the island of Vieques, the El Yunque Rainforest, and the Camuy Caverns. Assistant Dean of Program Development Tracey Howard, will post reports throughout the trip.

Poland Trip 2007
Blog Albion students and staff traveling in Poland for the Holocaust Studies Program Service-Learning Project will post blogs about their experiences restoring a neglected Jewish cemetery, visiting sites related to the Holocaust and Jewish history, and touring Nazi death camps. Please check back often for photos and impressions of the 2007 Holocaust Studies Trip.

Briton Singers Make Music in Budapest The Briton Singers skipped the first week of classes in April at the invitation of the International Choir Competition and Festival of Budapest, Hungary, where they have been singing with other choirs from around the world. The ensemble was one of a small handful of groups invited from North America to participate in one of Europe’s longest-running international choir festivals.
