Shrewsbury was a delightful town that welcomed us with open arms. Dr. Rose and some of the students went to the local BBC radio station to do an interview about our concert in the Abbey. We were also pleased to catch up with alum Dorothy Gibbs, ’55 and husband Jim who live in England. Jim, ’63 and Tammy Transue Royle, ’63 also caught up with some friends from a previous visit to the town. Emily Ernsberger, ’04 made a presentation to Mayor Miles Kenny on behalf of President Mitchell. She was then presented with gifts of the town crest and an Abbey Bear to remember our trip by.
