The Following are the Official Symbols of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

 

 

- The Badge was designed by the founder Otis Allan Glazebrook in 1865.  The badge consists of 4 arms with a circular center field.  The cross was chosen because Glazebrook projected the fraternity to be       Christian s he chose a christian symbol

 

 

- The Coat of Arms was adopted in 1910. The design of the ATO Coat of Arms is defined as follows: Or, a pale and chief conjoined azure, in chief three mullets of the first. Crest: A tower masoned or, bearing a crosslet pattee sable. Motto: "Pi Epsilon Pi

 

 

- The ATO flag was designed in 1914 by William C. Smiley in Minnesota.  The flag has the standard design from the coat of arms shield, made into a rectangle. 

 

 

- The flower of Alpha Tau Omega is the white rose.  It was adopted in 1892 at congress as the fraternity's flower.  It was selected because of its green stalk and white petals.  A bouquet of white tea roses tied with sky-blue and gold ribbons contains the Fraternity's quartet of symbolic colors.
