1959 Class Notes

Gayle Smith, ’59, retired after selling real estate for 23 years. She has volunteered since 1998 at Southern Virginia University in Lexington, VA, and currently serves as an advisor to international students. She taught oral and written English to students in Jinan, China, from 2004 to 2006. Gayle earned her master’s degree from Brigham Young University and is currently working on a second bachelor’s degree in music. Gayle served two full-time missions to the Netherlands and Germany for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church. She lives in Buena Vista, VA.
