Darrell Pollard, ’43, at age 86 was recently honored by the Cove Cay Country Club (FL) for shooting an eagle on the ninth hole of the Cove Cay golf course. He is retired as academic vice president of Adrian College. He was an Albion College political science professor from 1951 to 1964 and was also a golf coach. He and his wife, Alice Hampton Pollard, ’44, are both avid golfers. Alice was recently recognized at the Past President’s Dinner Dance for her service as president of the Women’s Golf League. She is retired as the creator and administrator of a program for the academically talented in the Adrian public schools.
