1985 Class Notes

Juliette “Julie” Falkner, ’85, has joined the staff of The Nature Conservancy as senior policy advisor for the Bureau of Land Management. She specializes in land management conservation strategies. She lives in Alexandria, VA.

William Gutherie, ’85, and his wife divide their time between Michigan and Naples, FL. He was recently voted as “mayor” of Blain Island in Waterford, MI, for an unprecedented third term. Bill and Mel Gutherie, ’82, did a radio show at WSDP at Plymouth High School as part of their 35th anniversary celebration. He lives in Waterford.

Karen Repaskey Mishra, ’85, recently completed her Ph.D. in marketing communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She will begin teaching marketing and advertising in the business school at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, in the fall. She lives in Durham, NC.

Jennifer Primack Mooney, ’85, is the group vice president for Advance Newhouse (dba Bright House Networks). She and her husband, Donald, have two daughters. They live in Winter Park, FL. The family travels regularly to Taos, NM, and the Caribbean.
