1984 Class Notes

Joan Essenmacher, ’84, is a coordinator of referral development for Riverview Hospital Rehab and Fitness in Noblesville and Carmel, IN. She earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University Medical School. Joan also earned a master’s degree from Purdue University and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. She has worked with the United States Tennis Association and the Sony Ericsson WTA tours, as well as USA Men’s Beach Volleyball. She lives in Indianapolis, IN.

Patricia Finnegan, ’84, graduated from Oakland University in May 2008 with a master’s in special education with an endorsement in autism. She is teaching adaptive physical education and aquatics to children with autism in the Detroit Public Schools. Thomas Knight Jr., ’84, was promoted to manufacturing plant specialist for Ford Motor Companies Asia Pacific Division, Auto Alliance International, located in Flat Rock. He lives in Newport.
