1951 Class News

Kathryn DeVinney Crawford, ’51, worked for the U.S. Census Bureau. She has volunteered for missions following Hurricane Katrina and in other states. Kathryn has traveled to over 60 countries, adding Egypt and Jordan as of August 2008. She has sung in her church choirs and attended United Methodist national conferences. Kathryn and her husband, David, lives in Grand Rapids.

Eddie Heimburger Smith, ’51, retired as a librarian at the Manistee County Library. Eddie has completed two unpublished books and has also had some published writing. She is part of the Greenville Senior Center cooking team, where she also leads a writing class. Eddie is also a volunteer for the Greenville Democratic Committee and chairman of the Manistee United Methodist Women. She was a board member for the Manistee Civic Players and the Manistee County Library. She lives in Greenville.
