Albion College kicks off its 'Year of Sustainability' with alumnus George Heartwell, '71, who will present the annual William Stoffer lecture Thursday, August 26, at 7 p.m. As mayor of Grand Rapids, Heartwell has championed initiatives that recently earned the city the 2010 Siemens Sustainable Community Award as the nation’s most sustainable midsize city.
