1950 Class Notes

Richard Field, ’50, is a retired physician. He is a volunteer for the medical society and the forest service. Richard is also teaching medical students at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He has traveled to Europe and Hawaii. He and his wife, Anne Schwartz Field, ’51, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2002. They live in Albuquerque.

Betty Jean Phillips Fry, ’50, is the president-elect of Butterworth Auxiliary of Spectrum Health. She is past president of the Sallie Bender Guild and gift shop chair of the Butterworth Gift Shop. Betty Jean has traveled to many parts of Europe. She earned a master’s degree from Western Michigan University. She and her husband, Charles Fry, ’51, live in Grand Rapids.
