2005 Class Notes

Jaime Hypes, ’05, was recently hired at Community Anti-Violence Alliance in Angola, IN. She is a women’s advocate and sexual assault response team coordinator. She works with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as in community education and prevention. She lives in Howe, IN.

Kristina Jelinek, ’05, teaches bilingual special education for seventh- and eighth-graders at Middle School 325: Urban Science Academy in the Bronx, NY. She is a member of the New York City Teaching Fellows, a program which provides individuals with college degrees, but who lack a teaching certificate, the opportunity to teach, earn a master’s degree and be certified simultaneously. Erin Knight, ’05, graduated from the University of Michigan in April with a degree in chemical engineering. She will begin working with L’Oreal in Cleveland in August.
