1987 Class Notes

Kelly Courter Bebow, ’87, is a CPA and principal partner with The Rehmann Group, a regional public accounting firm. A volunteer with Junior Achievement and a soccer coach, Kelly is also on the school board for St. Louis Schools. She and her husband, Kevin, have been married for 20 years and have four children. They have enjoyed family vacations to Florida, Hawaii, and Mexico. They live in St. Louis.

Michelle Gandy Bissanti, ’87, has been a teacher for 12 years. She is currently staying at home with her son and is an independent representative for Barefoot Books. Michelle is chair of the Teacher Advisory Board at the Children’s Museum in Boston. She is also a community representative for an elementary school. She earned her master’s degree. She lives in Newton, MA.

Sarah Robart Didion, ’87, is a homemaker. She and her husband, Dean, have three children and live in Clarkston.

Michael Doyle, ’87, recently took a research position at the national Centers for Disease Control in Fort Collins, CO, where he is studying West Nile virus transmission in mosquitoes. Michael is active in a local Christian music ministry and international student programs. He and his wife have two children and live in Loveland, CO. Elizabeth “Betsy” VerPlank Kerl, ’87, is vice president of VerPlank Enterprises. She is also a volunteer for the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. Betsy enjoyed wine-tasting trips to California in 2002 and 2004. In 2003, she took a two-week trip to the London and English countryside. She and her husband, Russell, have two sons. They live in Killen, AL.

Melissa “Missy” Peebles, ’87, is an office manager and student at an acupressure school. She also continues to work as a prep cook at a macrobiotic/vegan restaurant. Missy is certified as a master composter, and does work with the Department of Environment in San Francisco. She traveled to Cuba in 2001 as part of a U.S. Ambassador group in a choral competition. Missy earned a master’s degree from Holy Names College in California. She lives in Oakland, CA.

Karen Borninski Revenaugh, ’87, is a stay-at-home mom and volunteers at her daughters’ school. Vice president of the PTA, she also chairs the school’s annual holiday gift drive that benefits the Rochester Area Neighborhood House, a local charity. Her family traveled to Ireland. She and her husband, Jim, have two daughters. They live in Oakland.
