The Gerstacker Institute is an integral part of Albion College, anchored by the outstanding faculty in the Economics and Management department and across our campus. Our mission is to "give our students a competitive advantage as they launch and grow their careers in business." Founded in 1973, the Institute has earned the respect of business leaders for preparing corporate leaders, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and family business owners.
The Gerstacker Institute is a competitive and selective program that features its own application process. Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall 2013 entering class.

Please respond to the following essay topics. Applicants can choose to respond to either topic (a) or (b). All applicants must answer question (c).
(a) Explain a situation where you did something well. (400 words or fewer)
(b) Tell us about a situation where you wish you had performed better. (400 words or fewer)
(c) Gerstacker Institute students bring a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to the program. How do you see yourself benefiting from and contributing to this community? (500 words or fewer)
