Albion President Maintains Colleges Can Combine Career Preparation and Well Rounded EducationAlbion College President Donna Randall authored an op-ed about how colleges can provide both the foundation for a lucrative career and a well rounded education for the Forbes Web site. Meanwhile, critics are asking, why aren't more colleges equipping students with the professional skills necessary for lucrative careers?
“The flaw in thinking here is that it's an either-or proposition, a zero-sum game. Truth is, liberal arts colleges can--and already do--blend career preparedness with their core mission to provide a well-rounded education.”
