Residential Life Collecting 'Jeans for Teens'

Albion College's Residential Life Office is heading a local effort to get Albion involved in a Aeropostale's national "Jeans for Teens" program. Every pair of gently-used jeans brought to their offices by February 10 can be traded for a 25% discount coupon at Aeropostale.

"We thought this would be a great way to give back to the community," said residence hall director Tina Griffith. "This is an easy way for our students to get involved, by giving away clothes they no longer use while also raising awareness to the issue of teenage homelessness."

Clothing donated through the "Jeans for Teens" program goes to homeless shelters near the Aeropostale stores. Griffin noted that jeans can also be taken directly to the Aeropostale store in Jackson.

Albion College's Office of Residential Life is located in the Ferguson Save Building, just west of the Kellogg Center.
