Albion Community Celebrates Global Citizenship
ALBION, Mich. — Albion's status as a crossroads of the world is celebrated with food and fun for the community at Global Citizens Day on Sunday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Albion College Kellogg Center.
Global Citizens Day features ethnic dishes, entertainment, activities and information that highlight Albion's interaction with communities around the world. Food is provided by Albion College's cultural student groups, and entertainment includes performances by Bella Voce women's a capella group, and United Voices of Albion College gospel choir.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Grace Children's Hospital in Port au Prince, Haiti, and Albion's Sister City Committee, promoting cultural exchange with Noisy-le-Roi/Baillie, France.
