1959 Class Notes

Allison James Green, ’59, was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Flint Rotary Club in January 2005. She lives in Flint.

T. John Leppi, ’59, retired in June 2006 after a long career as a medical school professor and administrator. He and his wife, Violet, have settled in Henderson, NV. He has three children.

Wayne Raquepaw, ’59, retired from AC Spark Plug, a division of General Motors, in 1991. He worked as a senior designer in production engineering. He is a member of the men’s choir at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth. Wayne enjoys gunsmithing and building his own houses. He and his wife, Agnes, have three children and live in Frankenmuth.

Larry Stone, ’59, married Paula Blanchard in 2004. He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan in 1962 and has been in private practice since then. He has three children, including Scott Stone, ’86, and Sara Stone Psihas, ’89. Scott joined his father’s practice in 1993. Sara is head of national accounts for Fresh Express. Larry lives in East Lansing.

Ruth Knight Young, ’59, had her students’ writing and illustrations published in a national magazine, Stepping Stones, and they were granted the Youth Honor Award. She earned her master’s degree from Florida International University. She has two children and lives in Miami, FL.
