Jeffrey Ott, ’86, a partner at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP in Grand Rapids, has been named chair of the firm’s recruiting committee. The 13-member committee conducts on-campus interviews at law schools around the country to recruit law students for summer associate positions at the firm. He concentrates his practice in securities and business law. He is a member of the Visiting Committee for Albion College’s Gerald R. Ford Institute for Public Policy and Service. Jeff earned his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan in 1989. He lives in Rockford.
Todd Smiedendorf, ’86, has created a new retreat for Christian men called CrossRoads in the Wilderness. The CrossRoads retreat is a unique formula of progressive Christianity, ancient ritual, group support, and facilitated tools of personal discovery. He is also writing a book about this new rite of passage approach to men’s ministry. More information can be found through the Web site, CrossRoadsGuidance.com. He lives in Boulder, CO.
