1970 Class Notes

Larry Mason, ’70, retired in January 2008 after almost 17 years as superintendent of Spring Lake schools. He has been in education for 34 years. Larry previously has served as superintendent of Paw Paw Public Schools and was an assistant superintendent at Plainwell Community Schools. He had also worked at Brighton Area Schools and Williamston Community Schools. Larry earned a master’s degree at Eastern Michigan University. He recently took an 8,000-mile road trip that included stops in Florida and Arizona to visit his sons and his brother and mother. His wife, Laurie, teaches special education with Kenowa Hills Public Schools. They live in Spring Lake.
