Albion College Athletic Training Faculty, Staff, and Scholars Sara Koski, M.A. ('04), ATC arrived at Albion College in the fall of 2004. She is the Head Athletic Trainer and Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Education Program. Sara is an American Red Cross certified instructor of First-Aid and CPR. She is in charge of the health care of the 600 student-athletes and the daily operations of the athletic training room, including but not limited to the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of Albion College's student-athletes, as well as maintaining athletic training room supplies and equipment. Sara did her undergraduate work at Oregon State University and her grad work at Western Michigan University. Sara is a valued Clinical Instructor for the ATEP. Oh, and something about cats. Sara can be reached at skoski@albion.edu or by phone at (517) 629-0522. Carol Moss, M.A. ('82), ATC arrived at Albion College in the fall of 2000. She is the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Education Program. Carol is responsible for the clinical education component of the program and teaches many of the courses in the didactic portion of the program. Carol teaches many of the athletic training courses. She brings great experience from her work at an NCAA Division I university and as a director of a sports medicine clinic. Carol still helps out in the athletic training room with orthotic construction and manual therapy techniques. Carol did her undergraduate work at Ohio State University and her grad work at Kent State University. Carol's husband is Bob (see below) and they have twin fantastic daughters Sarah and Lynn. Robert
Moss, Ph.D.('88), ATC
arrived at Albion College in the fall of 2000. He is the Director of the Athletic Training
Education Program Director. Bob teaches the anatomy courses in the PHED
a course or 2 in the Athletic Training major. Bob did his undergraduate
work at Western Michigan University and his doctorate is biomechanics from Southern
Illinois University. Bob's wife is Carol (see above) and they have twin
knuckleheads, Lynn and Sarah. Students interested in pursuing a degree

or at (517) 629-0548. Gayle Thompson, Ph.D. ('08), ATC arrived at Albion College in the fall of 2007. She will be teaching both clinical and didactic courses in the Athletic Training Education Program. Gayle brings teaching experience from Western Michigan University and recently completed her doctoral work. Her dissertation topic was clinical education in athletic training. Gayle did her undergraduate work at Miami University and her grad work at Western Michigan University. She is married to Chad and has twin daughters, Molly and Anna. ('05), ATC arrived at Albion College in the fall of 2007 and is an Assistant Athletic Trainer in Athletics and a Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Education Program. She is actively involved in the daily operations of the athletic training room, assisting with the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of Albion College's student-athletes, as well as maintaining athletic training room supplies and equipment. Danielle's current athletic training responsibilities are primarily with the soccer programs. She received her undergraduate degree from Albion College, majoring in chemistry and completed her masters at Seton Hall University.
