Our Mission:
   Asian Awareness Group educates the campus community about various facets of Asian/Asian American culture.  Our mission does not just stop with students, but also seeks to ensure that the Asian population on campus in the faculty and student body.  “Education through Celebration.”  We have sponsored various ethnic dinners, such as Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, and the Lunar New Year Dinner, celebrating the Chinese New Year.  The Asian Awareness Group also travels to various colleges and universities in the Midwest to attend conferences and retreats about the Asian/Asian American culture and the different issues that involve them.

Activities:
   We host many events throughout the year, dinners, massage lounges, festivals, movies, and demonstrations.  We also have many group bonding activities like BBQ's movie nights, trips and day outings.
