The
Learning Support Center has two missions:
1. Assist
Albion students in becoming Strategic
Learners
2.
Coordinate Disability Services
Strategic
Learning Services & Study Skills
- Individualized
analysis of academic skills with recommendations for more effective
approaches. Development of a strategy based approach. Students
can request ongoing monitoring to assist them in meeting their
goals.
- Academic support can
be provided upon student request or faculty or staff referral.
Individualized tutoring and monitoring of academic progress are
provided.
Disability
Services
- Coordinates the
delivery of services for students with disabilities including planning
reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
- Makes provision for
appropriate support services including academic tutoring and coaching and
books on tape.
