Our Cardinal Principles: Leadership, Friendship, & Service

Service: Beginning with the third principle first, Alpha Phi Omega accomplishes service in four different areas: Service to the Campus, Service to the Fraternity, Service to Youth and the Community, and Service to the Nation. Some of the ways we here at Albion do this are Faculty and Staff Day Out where we baby-sit for the faculty and staff of Albion College, our fellowship and recruiting activities for the chapter, helping with things like Highway Cleanup for the community, and working on the Habitat for Humanity house along with Albion’s chapter of that national organization.

Leadership: There are many opportunities for members of Alpha Phi Omega to be leaders. Although the most obvious form of leadership is to become an officer, leadership in APO and the AGL chapter is not just limited to holding office. Different people can take the lead on a number of different aspects of our many projects, from planning an event to the actual following through with the event.

Friendship: With all of the work APO does is there time for fun? Of course there is! What better way to get hard work done then to have fun doing it with people that enjoy it. To entertain the chapter our Vice President of Brotherhood and his or her committee come up with different fellowship events ranging from card tournaments to possible camping trips.
