Ryan Sweet in Iraq

Ryan Sweet, ’96, is a captain and judge advocate general (attorney) in the U.S. Army. His areas of practice include administrative law, legal assistance for soldiers, claims (for Iraqi civilians and American soldiers), ethics, fiscal law, operational law, and criminal law. Ryan was awarded an Army Achievement Medal for meritorious non-combat service in handling legal matters for Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Ft. Campbell, KY. He has earned his Airborne parachutist jump wings at the U.S. Army Airborne School in Ft. Benning, GA, and his Air Assault Wings at the U.S. Army Air Assault School (called the 10 hardest training days in the Army) with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Ft. Campbell, KY. Ryan is currently serving with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division near Baghdad, Iraq. He can be reached via e-mail at: earoreyes@yahoo.com or CPT.
