Housing and Meals
Housing
All participants of Grandparents College will experience college life by living in an on-campus dorm room. Registration includes two nights lodging. Each dorm room can sleep up to two people and is furnished with beds, desks, and drawers. These dorm rooms are not air conditioned so we suggest bringing a fan along with other amenities outlined on the "What to bring" checklist. The dorms will provide pillows, bed sheets, blankets and bath towels.
Room keys will be issued to adults during registration. Participants are responsible for their keys and all keys must be returned by the conclusion of the program.
All participants will be required to be in the dorm from 11:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The dorm will have a Conference Assistant available all night in case of emergencies.
The adult and child participant from each family will be in one dorm room. If there are three people to a family, they will all be in one dorm room. Families with four to six participants will be assigned to adjacent rooms. Room assignments will be made by the Grandparents College staff. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Meals
All meals will be served in the Baldwin Cafeteria. Meals are included with registration. Cafeteria hours are strict, so please do plan accordingly for snacks and drinks while roaming around campus.
The menus are prepared with all guests in mind, so guests with food allergies should feel free to consult with a cafeteria staff member at each meal.
