This year's Commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6 at 1 p.m. on the Quad in front of Kresge Gymnasium. Graduating seniors have received a packet of information outlining details of the day.
In case of severe weather, the ceremony will be moved to Goodrich Chapel—this decision will be announced via email and on the Albion College website. If the ceremony takes place indoors, tickets will be required. Students will receive three tickets prior to the event for distribution to friends and family. If the celebration is able to be held outdoors, seating is unlimited and tickets are not required.

Faculty and staff will congratulate our class of 2017 graduates at the Senior Luncheon. This will be a time to mingle, take photos, talk about your memories from the last four years at Albion while enjoying a stand up reception style lunch. Students will receive their graduation gift during this program and be honored for giving to the senior class gift!
Location: Goodrich Chapel
This is a wonderful tradition at Albion College that features senior recognition, music, scripture and a senior charge by our president Mauri Ditzler. This year Rev. Stephen Charnley, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo, MI, and Albion College Trustee, will share “words of wisdom” with our graduates. This is one of the culminating experiences that seniors can share with their families, friends and Albion College community before Commencement. Light refreshments will be served after this brief (1 hour) service.
For more information, contact Rev. Donald Phillips, College Chaplain, at or 517/629-0492.
