Time Commitment: Responsibilities of an Alumni Career Mentor
Each Alumni Career Mentor will spend a different amount of time on the program. You decide the level of commitment and time you can volunteer based on your schedule. This could range from answering an occasional email to volunteering to come to campus and give a presentation about your career field. In your mentor profile you can set the number of students who are able to view your profile at one time.
Participants are advised to be respectful of your time. As an Alumni Career Mentor, expect a couple of hours throughout the semester. Of course, if you are in a popular career field or job market, you may receive more contacts then other mentors, but you always have the option of limiting the number of students who may view your profile by adjusting that number via your mentor profile.
