Mary Beckwith, ’77, 9300 Pretoria Place, Dulles, VA 20189, is a Foreign Service office management specialist in the U.S. Department of State. She earned a Meritorious Honor Award in 2007 from the U.S. Department of State and the Franklin Award in 2004. She will participate as an election observer during the 2007 presidential and parliamentary elections in Sierra Leone. During the past five years, Mary has lived and traveled in Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia.
Julie Brigham-Grette, ’77, 26 Rosemary St., Amherst, MA 01002, is a professor of earth sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she has taught for 20 years. She is currently leading a $9-million drilling project in Russia. She is involved with the choir at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Julie is past president of the American Quarternary Association. She earned a Ph.D. in 1985 and completed post-doctoral fellowships in Canada and Norway. She has traveled to India, China, Argentina, Russia, and Kenya. Julie and her husband, Roger, have been married for 24 years. They have two sons.
Rae Lynn Collins Carr, ’77, 27939 Tavistock Trail, Southfield, MI 48034, is a finance manager for General Motors, where she has worked for 31 years. Treasurer of a church group and her golf league, Rae Lynn is also involved with affinity group networking and mentor programs. She earned a master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Rae Lynn and her husband, Richard, have two daughters.

Bob Currier, ’77, 5518 White Ash, Haslett, MI 48840-9799, is a dentist in Okemos, where he has worked since 1980. He is a junior varsity girls’ basketball coach for Haslett High School. Bob earned his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan in 1980. He has had golfing adventures across the country with Bruce Dunn, ’77, Paul Revard, ’77, and Ken Pero, ’76. His wife, Linda Whale Currier, ’77, has been owner and partner in Cools & Currier Inc., a business communications and design firm, for 12 years. She has worked in corporate communications for more than 20 years. Linda is a board member for the Capital Area Literacy Coalition in Lansing. They have traveled with Bruce and Nancy Scully Dunn, both ’77, to Alaska, France, and Italy. They have two children.

Geoffrey d’Allemand, ’77, 126 Austin Ave., Royal Oak, MI 48067, is a physician assistant in the Department of Pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital, where he has worked for 24 years. He graduated from the physician assistant program at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1982. His wife, Maggie Mahaffey d’Allemand, ’77, is a French teacher for Detroit Country Day School, where she has worked for 30 years. She earned her master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1995. They have been married for 25 years, and have a son.
Bruce Dunn, ’77, 666 Butterfield Dr., East Lansing, MI 48823, is a funeral director. His wife, Nancy Scully Dunn, ’77, is a school library aide. They have two children, including Scott Dunn, ’09.
Warren Dunn, ’77, 1932 Washtenaw Apt. #24, Ypsilanti, MI 48197, is an accounting assistant for the State of Michigan. He has traveled to the Philippines.
Frank Hower, ’77, 445 Swing Lane, Louisville, KY 40207, is the executive vice president and private client group manager for National City Bank of Kentucky. His wife, Kris Kline Hower, ’77, is the owner of Clayton Nye Jewelry. They have two children.
Eleanor Dill Israel, ’77, 3543 Bent Trail Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108, is a quality manager for Automotive Components Moldings LLC. She and her family have hosted more than 30 foreign students since 1986. Eleanor loves to cruise and has traveled all around the world. With a master’s degree in industrial technology, Eleanor is a certified quality manager, auditor, and quality engineer. She and her husband, Alan, have been married 28 years, and have two daughters and four grandchildren.
Patrick Lavey, ’77, 1446 Centre St. #1, Roslindale, MA 02131, is a librarian and cataloger for the Social Law Library in Boston, MA. He traveled to Great Britain in 2007, visiting London, Oxford, Bath, Salisbury/Stonehenge, and Edinburgh. He toured Christchurch and the Bodleian Library at Oxford.
Katharine Howard Layton, ’77, 9104 Alpine Dr., Urbandale, IA 50322, is a senior project manager for Principal Bank, where she has worked for seven years. She is currently on the board of the American Business Women’s Association, and is active with the local Ronald McDonald House. She earned a degree from Drake University in 1977. Katharine and her husband, Bob, own a second home in the mountains outside of Golden, CO, and travel there several times a year. They have also traveled to the British Virgin Islands and the California wine country. They have been married for 30 years and have two sons.
Jann Cryderman Lehman, ’77, 5740 Academic Way, Haslett, MI 48840, is an eighth-grade guidance counselor at Holt Junior High School. She volunteers as a group facilitator at Ele’s Place, a center for grief and loss in Lansing. Jann is also a volunteer at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. She earned her master’s degree from Michigan State University in 1989.
Rick Pinkham, ’77, 624 Round Oak Road, Towson, MD 21204, works in computer consulting project management for Enterprise Consulting Partners Inc. He is involved with Valley Presbyterian Church. Rick is a member of INFORMS, an operations research society. He earned a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1979, and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1985. He is married to Karen Seibert, ’76.
Darrell Williams, ’77, 20385 Brookshire Dr., Southfield, MI 48076, has practiced dentistry in the metro Detroit area for 25 years. Darrell is also president of the Detroit Dental District Society. He is involved with Reconciliation Word Ministry and in the prison ministry at Coldwater Prison. Darrell earned his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He and his wife, Yolanda Toran Williams, ’77, have been married for 25 years. They have two children, including Ryan Williams, ’06.
