Maggie Benjamin LaNoue, ’76, designed a mural called “Crossing the River” for the Albion Community Mural project. The mural, located at the drive-through passage of Citizens Bank in downtown Albion, celebrates Albion’s cultural heritage. Her son, Charlie, was one of the artists. Lead artist Tony Hendrick of Grand Ledge held two community paint sessions at the First Presbyterian Church of Albion. The Albion Community Mural project is part of the Calhoun County Public Art Program, supported by the Arts & Industry Council and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Maggie is president of Albion Design. She lives in Albion.
Jeff Oslund, ’76, was recently named Brazil exploration manager for Anadarko Petroleum Corp., located in The Woodlands, TX. He is a member of the advisory board to the Indiana University Department of Geosciences. Jeff and his wife, Raelene, have two daughters and live in Spring, TX.
Paul Shrode, ’76, is the associate dean of students for activities at Lawrence University, where he has worked for almost 25 years. Paul is active in his church and the Kiwanis Club. He is also Cubmaster for his son’s pack. He recently completed 25 years of service on the Appleton Octoberfest Board, and is a local board member for the Selective Service Administration. Paul recently received the Founder’s Award from the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). He is active with the Sigma Chi chapter at Ripon College, and serves as the fundraising coordinator for First Books Fox Cities. Paul earned a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 1978, and completed course work for his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He and his family have traveled throughout the United States. He and his wife, Stacy, have a son. They live in Appleton, WI.
